Admin Clerk

 

 

Main Purpose of the Role:

  • To provide a comprehensive administration support service

 

 

FUNCTIONAL AREA

  • Global Music

 

 

Reports to:

  • Product Planner

 

 

Internal Team Interaction:

  •  (Information, support, advice): Across business unit, selected head office contacts: exchange of information, support and advice

 

 

External Team Interaction:

  • (information, support, advice, persuasion/ negotiation):

Secretarial duties

  • Undertakes correspondence with Customers and Principals
  • Undertakes projects and assignments on behalf of the business unit
  • Ensure that IT Pricing (Syspro) is up to date and correct
  • Disseminate information to dealers when required
  • Maintain various administration records

 

Optimises managers capacity

Office Control

Undertakes responsibility for office environment:

  • Internal Requisition Orders (Syspro)
  • Equipment and telecom services
  • Attend to purchasing and issuing of consumables, service providers
  • Purchasing office and stationary consumables
  • Handles dealer enquiries telephonically – Pricing, sales orders and general enquiries.

Sales and Stock Control

  • Sales Order processing (Syspro) BA and GM
  • Consignment and Stock lists – Prepare, verify and upload to server once checked by divisional staff.
  • Web online (Takealot – One day only- HiFi Corporation) sales processing, new stock listing and general admin function. (Liaise with buyers and support function)
  • Update Stock lists – Web online / Dealers
  • Internal warehouse - DSV Logistics – Queries / divisional staff support

 

Stock records accurate

 

 

 

 

 

 

MOST COMPLEX ASPECTS TYPICAL OF ROLE: Delivering on dealer expectations of sales service levels. Excellent communication skills
