POSITION INFO:

A fastâgrowing organization within the fintech space, based in Sandton, is looking to appoint an Accounts Receivable Manager to take full ownership of the receivables and credit control function. Operating in a highâenergy, highâvolume environment, this role requires someone who can drive collections performance, strengthen controls, and build scalable processes while leading a motivated team.

This is an ideal opportunity for a handsâon leader who enjoys improving processes, managing complexity, and delivering results under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the accounts receivable and credit control functions endâtoâend
Drive collections, cash flow, and debtor ageing performance
Manage customer relationships, escalations, disputes, and legal handovers
Oversee reconciliations, cash allocations, and monthâend reporting
Ensure audit readiness, compliance, and strong financial controls
Analyse reporting trends and proactively identify risk areas
Drive process improvements, automation, and system enhancements
Lead, mentor, and performanceâmanage the accounts receivable team

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Credit Management
5–7 years’ experience in accounts receivable / credit control
2–3 years’ experience in a supervisory or management role
Proven experience managing a large debtor’s book in a highâvolume environment
Strong exposure to collections escalations, disputes, and legal processes
Experience with monthâend reporting, reconciliations, and audit support
Advanced MS Excel skills (nonânegotiable)
Strong ERP systems experience (Sage, Business Central, Accpac, etc.)
Exposure to CRM / helpdesk systems (Zoho, Salesforce, or similar)
Strong people management skills with a proactive, resultsâdriven mindset
Ability to thrive in a fastâpaced, performanceâdriven environment
