SUMMARY:
Finance Clerk

POSITION INFO:
JOB DESCRIPTION

Organise, scan, digitise, and electronically index financial and project documents.
Reconcile and update Project Lists and ABSA payment records.
Capture and verify financial data and maintain relevant registers and spreadsheets.
Assist with the Commitment Register and expenditure reporting.
Compile and retrieve supporting documentation for financial reporting and audit requirements.
Identify discrepancies and assist with reconciliations and corrective actions.
Provide general administrative assistance to the Financial Reporting team.
Handle other related tasks assigned by management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Grade 12/Matric and Computer Literacy Certificate or equivalent.
At least 3 years’ relevant experience in finance, financial administration, registry or records management.
Basic knowledge of financial management and records management.
Computer literacy, particularly MS Word and Excel.
Good administrative, organisational and communication skills.
Accuracy, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Experience in document management, scanning, electronic filing systems, and financial record reconciliation will be an added advantage.
