POSITION INFO:
Qualifications and Skills
Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:

Grade 11
Experience 2 years of experience in maintenance or a similar field
Experience with specific equipment or machinery relevant to the industry may be required
Good interpersonal relationships
Honesty and trustworthy
Ability to handle pressure
Electrical Skills – Understanding of electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and troubleshooting
Strength and Stamina – Ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in physically demanding environments
Adaptability to different working arears and conditions
Must be willing to work shifts
Must have own accommodation and transport

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Keep the facility running and prepare any problems when they discover before they have a chance to worsen.
Identify possible unforeseen circumstances and plan alternative action in advance.
Ensure mechanical equipment is in working order and fixed as necessary.
Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations and take appropriate
Proper use of equipment and chemicals and company policies and procedures
Use correct working methods according to ISO and HACCP standards.
Attending relevant Safety Representative and Committee meetings if required to do so.
