A leading manufacturing company in Belgium is looking for an experienced CNC Programmer & Operator to join its machining team.

As a CNC Programmer & Operator, you'll be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC turning and milling machines to manufacture precision-engineered components.

Working with advanced machining technology and tight tolerances, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality products while supporting efficient production and continuous improvement.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Programming, setting up, and operating CNC turning and milling machines

• Editing and optimising CNC programs using controls such as Fanuc, Siemens, Haas, or similar

• Manufacturing precision components to tight tolerances

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and engineering specifications

• Selecting and managing tooling for machining operations

• Machining a variety of materials, including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and bronze

• Inspecting finished components using precision measuring equipment

• Performing routine machine maintenance and ensuring a clean, safe work environment

• Recording production data and maintaining quality documentation

• Supporting production deadlines through efficient and accurate machining

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

• A technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Machining, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field

• Proven experience as a CNC Programmer, CNC Turner, CNC Miller, or CNC Operator

• Experience with Fanuc, Siemens, Haas, or similar CNC control systems

• The ability to read and interpret technical drawings

• Experience working to tight tolerances using precision measuring equipment

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

• Good English communication skills

• A proactive attitude with a willingness to continuously develop your technical skills

• CAM software experience (such as Hypermill)

• Multi-axis CNC machining

• Small batch and precision manufacturing

• South African citizen

• Willing and able to relocate to Belgium

• Good Afrikaans proficiency is essential

• Valid passport (or willing to obtain one)

• Able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
