Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Inbound Controller / Admin Clerk to support our import and logistics operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling inbound container documentation, coordinating clearing instructions, tracking vessel and container movements, and providing general administrative support. This role suits someone who thrives in a busy, professional office environment and is willing to take on multiple tasks.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities

Receive, review, and manage all documentation related to import containers
Generate clearing instructions
Update, monitor, and track vessel schedules and container movements
Maintain accurate records and tracking reports
Assist with weekly cold store planning
Costing Schedules and checking of transporter invoices
Capture basic order and stock information
Provide general administrative support to the logistics and operations team
Assist other departments on an ad hoc basis when required

Minimum Requirements

Matric (minimum requirement)
3â5 years relevant work experience in an administrative role
Proven ability to follow processes accurately through to completion
Computer literate (comfortable with basic systems and data capturing)
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Shipping / logistics experience an advantage
