Warranty Controller

Key role responsibilities:

• Issue warranty authorisation numbers to branches after ensuring that the machine is under warranty, and that it is a valid warranty claim acceptable to principals
• Investigate claims against information on machine history files, i.e. delivery dates and serial numbers
• Assist the departments and branches with warranty queries Where required, request failed parts from branches and submit with relevant documentation to overseas principals Submission of policy claims to OEM

Minimum role requirements (qualifications, experience & skills):

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Qualified Diesel Earth Moving Mechanic
• 5 to 7 years post qualification experience
• Competent and familiar with OEM online computer systems
• Experience with MS Excel, intermediate would be advantageous
• Ability to read and interpret document administrative policies, department guidelines and operational procedures
