Our client in the automotive sector, based in Gqeberha, has a vacancy for a Warehouse Controller.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties:

Supervision of warehouse and warehouse personnel
Managing and controlling all daily warehouse operations
Ensure all daily sales are completed for local and export customers
Monitoring and maintaining correct stock levels and FIFO
Implement, monitor and ensure all SOPs are being adhered to
Maintaining and updating records of stock levels
Ensure all export documentation are done in accordance with incoterms and stack dates
Minimise expenses in area of responsibility including but not limited to scheduling of staff
Ensuring stock control on site and in warehouse
Stocktake
Liaising with customer materials management personnel
Ensuring stock accuracy of shipments to customers
Maintain a high level of HSE and quality consciousness
Play an active role in driving departmental project milestones

Requirements:

A tertiary qualification in Logistics, Inventory and Stores Management or Purchasing Management
Certified computer training
Previous experience in managing a warehouse (5 years) with at least 2 years' supervisory experience
Min. 5 years' experience in an automotive manufacturing environment
Previous experience with exports
