Warehouse Clerk (Data Capturer)

SUMMARY:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Data Capturer to join our team. Based in Verulam.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately capturing, maintaining, and updating warehouse and inventory data, ensuring smooth operations and timely reporting.

POSITION INFO:
This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and basic knowledge of warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately capture and update inventory, stock movement, and warehouse records into the company’s database or ERP system.
• Maintain records of incoming and outgoing stock, including garments, fabrics, and accessories.
• Ensure all stock discrepancies are reported and resolved in a timely manner.
• Assist in stock takes, audits, and cycle counts as required.
• Collaborate with warehouse and production teams to ensure accurate and up-to-date data.
• Generate reports on stock levels, movements, and trends as required by management.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive warehouse and stock information.

• Matric/Grade 12 or equivalent; additional courses in data capturing, logistics, or warehouse management is advantageous.
• Proven experience in data capturing, preferably within a warehouse, logistics, or clothing manufacturing environment.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with warehouse management systems or ERP software.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and a team player.
