Warehouse Clerk

SUMMARY:
Warehouse Clerk required to join Durban based Client. Excel knowledge and computer literate. Based within warehouse and in charge of monitoring all paperwork. Admin experience in a warehouse environment required.

Job description:

• Obtain all documents from receiving and ensure correct documents are present and stamped.
• Hand over documents to relevant departments when required.
• Obtain a copy of allocations and transfers in order to secure documents to support stock movements.
• Ensure all transfers of stock have documentation supporting, obtain these prior to transfer being physically affected.
• File all documents (allocation copies, transfer sheets) for easy reference to support stock movements.
• Receive GRN and all delivery documents from HO admin (eventually complete raising of the GRN) and agree to the DC delivery document in order to ensure all is complete.
• Update the DC receiving sheet with the actual quantity received per day and print and file to have supporting documents for the deliveries of goods.
• Raise GRV''s on short deliveries and email respective people to notify.
• Make scans and send picking slips to HO admin in order to get the allocations drafted.
• Ensure that all delivery documents are handed over to HO accounts once complete and checked.
• Receive and collate information on packets and other stationary items from stores.
• Use information collated to allocate stationary items to stores. Pack items and ensure stores to not run out of these items.
• Maintain bin allocation in the DC.
• Using POD''s being collected, log all shortages based on weights and allocated to stores.
• Assist with compiling the shortages report and investigating the issues found.
