SUMMARY:
A specialist duty-free retail company offering luxury goods, and customs services require a new Warehouse Administrator to assist in their PTA warehouse.

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications:

National Diploma: Logistics/Warehouse Management or equivalent
Computer Literate
Forklift License advantageous
Experience in a customs and export environment is advantageous

Skills Required:

Must speak, read and write in English
3 years of experience in Warehousing/Transportation/Logistics function.
Ability to work extended hours as and when needed.
Clear Criminal Record.

Job Description:

Ensuring that the correct labels are on stored pallets.
Picking and Packaging merchandise for shipment.
Loading and unloading trucks from ground level and platforms.
Matching quantities and items being shipped against the invoice.
Assisting in annual inventory movements and weekly stock takes.
Using computer equipment to generate stock reports.
Managing the FIFO packaging of merchandise on pallets,
Exercise the FIFO System for stock rotation.
Organizing stock in the warehouse.
Shrink-wrapping goods for loading onto trailers.
Operating power material handling equipment to accurately select and palletize loads.
