SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Vehicle Evaluator to join our team in Cape- Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately evaluating and appraising vehicles for purchase, conducting thorough mechanical and cosmetic inspections, negotiating with customers and ensuring all vehicles purchased meet company standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate and appraise vehicles accurately and efficiently.
Conduct detailed mechanical and cosmetic vehicle inspections.
Determine fair purchase values based on market trends and company guidelines.
Achieve monthly vehicle buying targets.
Negotiate with customers and close vehicle purchase deals.
Follow up with prospective customers.
Maintain accurate appraisal records and documentation.
Use CMS and Autobird for vehicle evaluations and reporting.
Liaise with sales and management to ensure smooth processing of purchased vehicles.
Provide professional customer service throughout the buying process.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12 / Matric.
Valid Code 8 driver's licence.
3–5 years' experience as a Vehicle Evaluator, Vehicle Buyer or Automotive Appraiser within a dealership or vehicle-buying environment.
Strong knowledge of vehicle condition, valuations and current market trends.
Experience evaluating a wide range of passenger vehicles, with exposure to multiple brands.
Experience with CMS and Autobird is essential.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
