Underwriter Position in Gauteng

We are hiring for a Mid-Career Underwriter role based in Krugersdorp. Join our team in the Insurance sector permanently.

POSITION INFO:

Mid Career Underwriter Position

Reporting to: Underwriting ManagerLocation: Krugersdorp, GautengType: Permanent

Duties and Responsibilities

Underwrite in accordance with standards, policies, and procedures.
Attend to administration and written communication.
Ensure that all documentation is processed accurately & correctly.
Resolve queries as per company standards.
Complete renewal reviews in a timely manner.
Calculate retentions.
Handle client claims according to SLA’s.

Requirements

Qualification Types: Certificates/Certification
Qualifications: RE 5, Higher Certificate in Short Term Insurance, FETC In Short Term Insurance NQF 4, Matric, Class of Business - Personal Lines
Skills: AFRIKAANS - Speak, Read and Write, Resides in West Rand, Strong knowledge of the principles and practices within a technical/professional discipline, Very good knowledge of Policy wordings, Registered as a representative with the FSB.
