SUMMARY:

Looking for a seasoned Commercial Underwriter for an Insurance Underwriting Manager.

POSITION INFO:

Commercial Underwriter

Duties and Responsibilities:

Underwrite commercial risks in line with guidelines
Handle endorsements, amendments, cancellations, and renewals
Manage broker queries within SLA timeframes
Review risk surveys and apply corrective actions
Provide quotes on existing policies and support retention
Maintain accurate records and disciplined diary management

Requirements:

Qualifications: RE 5, Higher Certificate in Short Term Insurance, FETC In Short Term Insurance NQF 4, Class of Business Commercial Lines
Skills: Minimum 8+ years' commercial underwriting experience, Strong knowledge of Multimark III / commercial policy wording, Computer literate; TIAL experience an advantage, Strong communication, analytical thinking, and customer service skills
