Training Technical Support Specialist - Midrand, Gauteng

POSITION INFO:
Our client is seeking a Training & Technical Support Specialist to join their dynamic team. This exciting role combines training delivery, technical support, customer service, and business development. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a varied position with excellent growth potential. This role offers an excellent opportunity to combine technical expertise with customer engagement, while contributing to business growth and development within a supportive and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, manage, and update the shared training calendar
Conduct on-the-job and classroom training (kitchen, laundry, housekeeping)
Perform product demonstrations and provide tailored client solutions
Build and maintain strong customer relationships, acting as a trusted advisor
Identify new business opportunities and represent the company at trade shows and networking events
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues both remotely and onsite
Carry out product installations and commissioning at customer sites
Collaborate across departments to support sales, operations, and product development
Maintain expert product knowledge and provide ongoing support to customers and staff

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Matric (Grade 12); relevant tertiary qualification advantageous
At least 2 years of relevant experience
Technically skilled with hands-on installation and service background
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational, planning, and problem-solving ability
Customer-focused, proactive, and adaptable
Must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
Willingness to travel and work extended hours when required
