Tender and Pricing Supervisor

SUMMARY:
A Pharmaceutical company based in Midrand has a vacancy for a Pricing and Tender Supervisor.

POSITION INFO:

Key responsibilities and tasks:

• Tender, Formulary and Price Increase Management
• Identifying relevant tenders and private formularies timeously via appropriate channels
• Confirm with relevant managers and Sales and Marketing directors’ the products to be included in tender and formulary submissions
• Liaise with relevant departments re required information for preparation of tenders and formularies as per applicable SOP
• Preparation of tender, formulary and SEP pricing files in conjunction with Market Access and Pricing Manager and relevant Product Managers as per applicable SOP.
• Ensure that prices excl. and incl. VAT are correct and checked by Market Access and Pricing Manager before submission.
• Timeous submission of files to external institutions in conjunction with relevant Product Managers and Market Access and Pricing Manager
• Currency adjustment of tender prices as per schedule
• Inform relevant departments of tender and formulary awards, price approvals and adjustments
• Inform customers of relevant prices
• Maintain accurate records
• Training to junior administration clerks within pricing department
• Update master price file when required as per SOP
• Maintain prices on Orderwise and other electronic systems, such as SURGICOM
• Liaise with relevant departments to ensure that correct information is loaded timeously
• Inform relevant departments of price file changes as per SOP
• Nappi code applications and maintenance
• Liaison with Medikredit and other stakeholders where appropriate
• Timeous and correct submission of Department of Health and other related reports as per allocated schedule
• Internal and external customer letters (stock issues, product changes, prices)
• Stock out letters to customers after being approved by Sales and Marketing Directors
• Assist Market Access and Pricing Manager and Marketing director with related supply and stock queries
• Coordination and supervisory management of the Quotations and Price File clerk, or other personnel as directed by your line manager
• Any duties which may reasonably arise pertaining to the activities and functions of the Marketing Director, Market Access and Pricing Manager and Product Managers
• Regular and timeous updates to the market access manager

•  3 years experience 
• SAP and/ or Syspro
• Matric + Degree/ Diploma (Marketing)
