Tender Administrative Assistant

SUMMARY:
An Electrical Construction Company in George is looking for an Energetic, Administrative Assistant to support the Quotations/Tender Department.

POSITION INFO:
Description:

• Provide general administrative support to Management and staff.
• Capture and process quotations.
• Requesting and following up of Supplier quotations for Tender purposes.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Assisting with Tender submissions.
• High accuracy in completing forms, checking for compliance, and ensuring no missing documents.
• Tracking and managing multiple tender submissions simultaneously.
• Arranging Meetings, taking minutes and maintaining records.
• Capture and Maintain data in Spreadsheets and Internal systems accurately.
• Collecting/Delivering documentation when required.
• Candidate must be willing to assist where needed and support general operations if required.

• Grade 12/Matric.
• 3 years General Administrative Experience.
• Computer literate; must be proficient in Excel, Outlook & MS Word.
• Experience in the construction or engineering sector.
• Experience in the following areas would be highly advantageous: Tender administration, sales administration, general procurement support or Supply Chain Management.
• Basic understanding of procurement processes, such as Tenders, Request for Quotations (RFQs) and Request for Proposals (RFPs).
• Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, deadline driven and ability to prioritiz
• Strong Communication & Organization skills.
• Non-Smoker.
• Valid Driver’s Licence.
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans. Verbal and written.
