POSITION INFO:

A well-established financial services and investment management business is seeking a detail-oriented finance professional to join their tax services team on a temporary contract basis. This opportunity is ideally suited to a candidate who has completed accounting, audit or tax articles and is looking to gain further exposure within a professional and highly reputable financial services environment. This position will provide SARS administrative and tax compliance support to the tax team, with exposure to both individual and trust-related tax administration processes.

What you will be doing:

• Registration of trusts and individuals for tax
• Updating tax representative details
• Collating supporting documentation for SARS submissions
• Assisting with SARS administration and eFiling profile transfers
• Supporting audit-related documentation, scanning and archiving
• Attending SARS meetings where required

What we are looking for:

• Accounting degree or diploma completed
• Completed accounting, audit or tax articles preferred
• Previous tax exposure advantageous
• Strong administrative and organisational skills
• Intermediate MS Office and Excel skills
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
• Valid driver's licence and own vehicle required
• Clear credit and criminal record checks
