SUMMARY:
Bond Secretary – 5 Month Temp
We are seeking a Bond Secretary with strong conveyancing expertise to join our team on a 5-month temp assignment.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

Attend to bond registrations across all major banks (Standard Bank, ABSA, FNB, Nedbank, African Bank).
Work independently under attorney supervision to resolve queries and manage processes.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years’ experience in conveyancing.
Solid working knowledge of home loan mortgage bonds for at least 2 banks.
Willingness to learn bond processes for additional banks.
In-depth knowledge of property and conveyancing law.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
Ability to work independently, problem-solve, and manage deadlines.

Advantageous Skills

Familiarity with:
Lexis Convey / E4
Storedoc
nCino (Docfox)
Legalsuite Accounting Software
Searchworks

Working Conditions

Office-based only (no remote work).
Hours: 08h00 – 16h30
