POSITION INFO:
Our client is seeking an energetic, confident and outgoing Telesales Consultant to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating sales, developing new business and maintaining strong relationships with customers within the food services, catering and hospitality industry.
The ideal candidate will have a bubbly personality, excellent communication skills and the confidence to engage with customers over the telephone.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric / Grade 12
• Previous telesales or sales experience is essential
• Experience in the food services, hospitality, catering or related industry will be highly advantageous
• Strong computer literacy
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong telephone etiquette
• Confident and comfortable making outbound calls
• Sales-driven with the ability to work towards targets

Key Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to existing and prospective customers
• Generate new sales and identify new business opportunities
• Promote and sell company products and services
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Follow up on quotations, enquiries and potential sales
• Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products or services
• Achieve agreed sales targets and KPIs
• Maintain accurate customer and sales information
• Process orders and ensure customer requirements are communicated accurately
• Follow up with customers to ensure excellent service and encourage repeat business
• Keep up to date with products, promotions and industry developments
