POSITION INFO:

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Grade 12 and relevant qualification or certification
• Previous working experience as Technical Writer or a similar role in a software development environment
• Previous working experience in the creation of technical documents for software products, which may include text, diagrams, workflows, and visuals
• Previous working experience in the review and refinement of existing technical documents
• Good understanding of the SDLC and software development
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office, specifically Advanced Word

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent writing, editing, and research skills
• Strong problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
• Highly organised, resilient and adaptable
• Deadline driven with the ability to undertake multiple projects
• Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and convey these into user-friendly documents (including text, images, and workflows)

The following will be an advantage:

• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Sciences, or related
