About the Role:

Are you a tech-savvy sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment? An established, industry-leading power generation company is seeking a dynamic Technical / Support Sales Representative to join their Lanseria branch. In this multi-faceted role, you will combine technical troubleshooting, customer relationship management, and sales to deliver high-quality solutions to walk-in and telephonic clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first-line telephonic technical customer support and advice.
• Assist walk-in customers, understand their needs, present instant solutions, and resolve complaints.
• Prepare accurate quotations for services and spare parts, process sales orders, and handle customer payments.
• Coordinate technician schedules, plan optimal routing, debrief technical staff, and process invoices.
• Manage sub-contractor relationships and handle warranty claims/work orders.
• Maintain stock visibility, report inventory status, and keep customer databases updated.

Requirements:

• Education: Matric with Higher Grade Mathematics (C+ or higher preferred).
• Languages: Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans (essential).
• Experience: Telesales experience and a strong interest in mechanical engines or electrical equipment are advantageous.
• Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Advanced Excel essential) and retail POS systems.
• Personal Attributes: High EQ, excellent communication and negotiation skills, strong numeracy, attention to detail, and a target-driven mindset.
• Logistics: Valid Driver’s Licence and own reliable transport are essential.
