SUMMARY:
Well established company in Cape-Town South seeks a Technical Sales Representative to join their team

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements

Minimum 3–5 years' external sales experience in technical industry
Proven experience selling industrial products
Experience calling on customers within the construction, mining or steel fabrication industries
Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
Target-driven with a proven sales track record
Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle

Key Responsibilities

Develop new business and grow existing customer accounts
Maintain strong relationships with customers and provide ongoing sales support
Sell a wide range of industrial products including U-bolts, specialised bolts, fasteners, adhesives, abrasives, cutting tools, power tools and PPE
Conduct regular client visits and identify new sales opportunities
Prepare quotations and negotiate pricing
Follow up on quotations and convert opportunities into sales
Achieve monthly sales targets
Resolve customer queries and provide excellent after-sales service
Monitor market trends and competitor activity
Prepare sales reports and maintain accurate customer records
