SUMMARY:
A growing renewable energy company is looking for a Field Sales Representative to join its sales team. This is a customer-facing, field-based role focused on generating new business, engaging with prospective customers, and promoting renewable energy solutions. The ideal candidate will be confident, target-driven and comfortable working independently in a sales environment.

POSITION INFO:

Job Description

Generate new business opportunities within the assigned territory
Engage with residential and commercial customers to identify their energy needs
Present and promote renewable energy solutions to prospective customers
Qualify leads and maintain accurate customer information on CRM systems
Attend marketing events, activations and community initiatives to generate leads
Achieve weekly and monthly sales activity targets
Maintain accurate sales reports and provide market feedback
Follow up on leads and support customers throughout the sales process
Work closely with the internal sales team to ensure a smooth customer journey

Skills & Experience

3+ years' experience in field sales, technical sales, business development or a customer-facing sales role
Experience in renewable energy, solar, electrical or related products will be advantageous
Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills
Comfortable approaching customers and generating new business
Experience using CRM systems and mobile applications
Self-motivated, target-driven and able to work independently
Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle
Willingness to travel within the assigned territory

Qualifications

Grade 12 / Matric
A qualification in Sales, Business or Marketing will be advantageous
An Electrical Engineering qualification will be advantageous but is not essential

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
