SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects within a live operational environment. The role involves managing deployments, coordinating cross-functional teams, ensuring quality control, and driving continuous improvement across systems and processes.

POSITION INFO:

Job Description

Manage and oversee live system environments, including server setup, applications, and performance
Plan and execute site-based projects, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and quality standards
Coordinate installation preparation, logistics, and resource allocation
Lead and manage technical and deployment teams across multiple regions
Oversee site visits, including audits (inventory, installation, reporting, and returns)
Ensure quality assurance across systems and project platforms
Review and approve project scopes and technical documentation
Drive process improvements in installation methods and operational workflows
Monitor firmware updates and manage system changes through structured processes
Collaborate with development teams and vendors to enhance system performance
Support training and upskilling of technical teams to improve efficiency and independence
Maintain strong cross-departmental communication and alignment

Skills and Experience

Proven experience in project management within a technical or operational environment
Strong understanding of system deployments, installations, and live environments
Experience managing cross-functional teams and multiple projects
Knowledge of quality control, auditing, and process improvement
Ability to manage timelines, resources, and stakeholder expectations
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
Experience with project management tools (e.g. Zoho or similar) advantageous

Qualifications

BCom / BSc / BEng or related qualification
ITIL 4 (advantageous)
PRINCE2 (v7) or PMBOK certification
CompTIA A+ (advantageous
