They are seeking a Procurement Manager who can take ownership of procurement strategy and execution—ensuring the right components, services, and suppliers are secured to support complex, high-stakes engineering projects.

🚀 What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll play a critical role in supporting advanced engineering programmes by managing the full procurement lifecycle:

• End-to-End Procurement Management
  Source and procure materials, precision-machined components, consumables, and services
• Supplier Negotiation & Optimisation
  Secure the best commercial terms across pricing, quality, delivery, and support
• Supplier Relationship Management
  Build and maintain strong, long-term partnerships with key suppliers
• Strategic Sourcing Decisions
  Evaluate suppliers and sourcing channels based on technical and commercial requirements
• Operational Procurement Execution
  Manage RFQs, purchase orders, delivery tracking, logistics, claims, and invoicing
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
  Work closely with engineering, finance, project management, and quality teams
• Quality & Compliance Oversight
  Address supplier non-conformances and drive corrective actions
• Risk Management
  Develop strategies to mitigate supply chain risks and shortages
• Supplier Governance
  Maintain supplier databases, conduct evaluations, and perform audits
• Cost & Performance Analysis
  Drive cost improvements and benchmark supplier performance

🎯 What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for a commercially astute professional with strong technical understanding:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field
• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in procurement or supply chain (preferably in a precision engineering or manufacturing environment)
• Strong understanding of sourcing within technical/engineering sectors
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Knowledge of Import/Export regulations and INCOTERMS
• Understanding of quality and environmental standards
• Experience in supplier management, compliance, and inventory processes
• Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
