CORE PURPOSE OF JOB

To manage the provision of a quality, cost effective reprographic service to the Nelson Mandela University.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• Manages Reprographic Production
• Manages and Maintains Electronic Print Requisition and Costing System
• Manages Human Resources of the Reprographics department.
• Produces Graphic Design & Typesetting requirements.
• Manages administration of the department.

CORE COMPETENCIES

• Sound management experience.
• Sound knowledge of all aspects of printing, finishing and photocopying processes.
• Sound knowledge and experience using electronic print requisition and print costing systems.
• Sound knowledge and experience in using MS Office products.
• Sound knowledge and experience in using a Financial ERP system.
• Expert knowledge and experience in using Graphic Design, Desktop Publishing, and other related systems.
• Very good interpersonal and communication skills on all levels.
• Full understanding of organizational policies and procedures relating to this post.
• Sound experience in handling highly confidential information such as examination papers.

REQUIREMENTS

• Relevant M + 3 Degree or Diploma
• 3 to 5 years reprographics experience, with at least 2 years in a management/supervisory capacity.
