SUMMARY:
Our client is a leading engineering company specializing in the manufacturing, repair, and upgrade of industrial equipment and components. Their facility is equipped with advanced CNC machines, lathes, and specialized tools, servicing a wide range of technical and industrial operations.

POSITION INFO:
We are recruiting an experienced, qualified Turner (Artisan) to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in operating manual and CNC lathes, with a proven track record in precision machining and mechanical repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate manual and CNC lathes to produce or refurbish precision components.
Read and interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications.
Conduct accurate measurements and inspections to ensure quality standards.
Support mechanical repairs, upgrades, and part replacement projects.
Comply with all safety, health, and quality regulations.

Qualifications & Experience:

Trade Test Certificate as a Turner or in Fitting and Turning (or equivalent recognized qualification).
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a turning or machining role, preferably in a heavy industrial or engineering environment.
Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and using measuring instruments.
CNC machining experience is a strong advantage.
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
