Surveillance Technician - Bloemfontein

SUMMARY:
Well established and fast growing company in Bloemfontein is looking for a Surveillance Technician to join their dynamic team.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

• National Certificate or equivalent to NQF 4
• 3 Years experience in an IT Environment
• Minimum 2 years exposure to IT hardware, Network Infrastructure, CCTV and Fibre Installations
• Valid driver''''s license with own transport

Duties and responsibilities:

• Install, monitor, repair and troubleshoot surveillance systems as per SOP
• Inspect surveillance systems for signs of malfunction
• Conducting cable installations and connections of installed devices and verifying compliance as per SOP
• Suggest areas where equipment should be set up
• Verify that all CCTV cameras are in an operating condition, recording and report any non-conformance to management immediately
