Location: Deep River, Cape Town

NON-NEGOTIABLE REQUIREMENTS:

Matric + post-matric qualification.
2–3 years’ Tracking / Fleet Management experience.
Fully bilingual in Afrikaans & English.
Strong mathematical ability.

ROLE OVERVIEW:
The Support Consultant will provide technical and customer support to clients using telematics and fleet management solutions.
The role will troubleshoot system and tracking queries, manage support requests, and liaise with technical teams to ensure effective and timely resolution.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

Matric / Grade 12.
Relevant post-matric qualification.
2–3 years’ experience in the tracking or fleet management industry.
Strong mathematical ability.
Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English.
Strong computer literacy and software skills.
Experience with telematics, GPS tracking or fleet management systems advantageous.
Technical troubleshooting experience advantageous.
Experience handling customer queries and support requests.
Good understanding of vehicle tracking, fleet systems and vehicle data.
Ability to work with reports, system information and customer requests.

Duties and responsibilities:

Provide internal and customer support on telematics and fleet management systems.
Assist customers with technical queries, system issues and platform functionality.
Troubleshoot tracking devices, vehicle data and system-related issues.
Assist clients with using telematics software and fleet management platforms.
Log, manage and follow up on customer support tickets.
Monitor outstanding queries and ensure timely resolution.
Liaise with technical teams and installers to escalate and resolve complex issues.
Assist with reports, system configurations and customer requests.
Analyse vehicle and tracking information to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain accurate records of customer queries, support activities and resolutions.
Build and maintain positive customer relationships.
Provide clear and professional communication to customers and internal stakeholders.
