Store Manager: Bride & Co Flagship Store (Canal Walk)

SUMMARY:
We are seeking a strong, hands-on Store Manager to lead our flagship store at Canal Walk Shopping Centre. This is a high-volume store with an experienced but strong-willed team. The successful candidate must be confident, resilient, and able to lead from the front, driving both sales performance and team accountability.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead, manage, and discipline a high-performing but strong-personality team
• Set clear expectations and hold staff accountable to targets and behaviour standards
• Address conflict directly and professionally to maintain a healthy team culture
• Lead by example on the floor visible, engaged, and performance-driven

Sales & Commercial Performance

• Drive store revenue through active selling and coaching
• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly targets and take corrective action where needed
• Push conversion, average spend, and overall store productivity
• Identify opportunities to maximise peak trading periods

Customer Experience

• Ensure every customer receives a high-quality, memorable experience
• Step in to manage difficult clients or high-pressure situations
• Maintain service standards aligned with a premium bridal experience

Operations & Store Standards

• Oversee stock management, merchandising, and store presentation
• Ensure operational discipline across all processes (IBTs, reporting, admin)
• Maintain high visual and housekeeping standards at all times

 Coaching & Development

• Train and develop consultants to improve sales technique and product knowledge
• Build a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Identify underperformance early and take corrective action

Experience Required

• Minimum 3–5 years as a Store Manager in a high-volume retail environment
• Experience in bridal, fashion, or luxury retail advantageous
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
• Experience managing large teams
