Store Man/ Warehousing based in Cape Town

Based: Park Lands; Cape Town
Salary: R12 000.00 to 15 000.00 pm
Qualification & experience
- Matric
- 2-5 Years’ experience in a warehouse/storeman role
- Computer literacy (experience with warehouse management systems – SAP advantageous)
- Valid forklift license (advantageous)
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to overtime when required
Duties (not limit to)
- Ensuring the Head of Stores and Production Control are informed of low stock and other shortages which may require re-ordering.
- Ensure all products are suitably packaged and that delivery service used is adequate to meet customer requirements. With the Head of Stores, maintain a safe working environment within the Stores areas and all current Health and Safety legislation is observed. Including basic “house-keeping”.
- Delivery and collection of product and material as required.
- Performing any other duties that may be deemed necessary to ensure the effective running of the Department and Company.
- Keep inventory management system up to date.
- Carry out regular stock take.
- Pick up and deliver products using forklift.
- Organize and deliver goods from stores to the relevant department as required.
- Liaise with suppliers and handle queries relating to delivery and stock discrepancies.
- Perform incoming inspections and manage both customer and supplier return.
