MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT – FACILITIES & MAINTENANCE

ABOUT THE JOB

The Maintenance Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor with the general building maintenance and repairs of facilities and maintaining machinery & production equipment. The

responsibilities may include cleaning buildings and rooms, and performing general maintenance and repair of the building, grounds, and equipment

ABOUT YOU

added advantage.

ï‚· Must show commitment – the position requires flexibility and after-hours availability when required

ï‚· Must be able to work well under pressure and achieve deadlines.

WHAT OTHER DETAILS / EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS MAKE OUR EYES LIGHT UP, YOU ASK?

1. Grade 10 - Matric.

2. Plumbing/Building experience advantageous.

3. 1 years’ experience in a similar role (as a maintenance / builder/ plumber) a preference.

4. Experience in a Warehouse/Production environment, cosmetic machinery advantageous.

5. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations.

6. Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects with high attention to detail.

7. Good communication skills.

8. Ability to maintain inhouse automation machinery (e.g. bottle filling machines etc) advantageous
