Stock Controller/Storeman

SUMMARY:
Our client, a leading provider in Electrical maintenance services, seeks to employ a Storeman to join their progressive professional team. 
 
Please note this is not a senior role, but rather a role for a more junior candidate, managing electrical and engineering stock in a small warehouse.
 
Only candidates resident in the Kloof or surrounding areas and who have a valid driver’s license will be considered.

POSITION INFO:
KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION:

• You will have completed Matric, coupled with 2-3 years experience in stock and stores control within a technical, electrical or engineering environment.
• You will have exceptional experience in tracking materials, tools, equipment and assets, being able to report to management any discrepancies, as well as ensure warranties are processed with suppliers.
• You will have experience in dealing with suppliers, ordering stock and ensuring sensitive or fragile equipment is correctly stored and ensure proper storage of cables.
• You will be able to identify fast moving stock and ensure consistent supply and coordinate deliveries to the branch in Kloof.
• You will have experience in inventory management systems such as SAP, Syspro, etc
• You must be able to work independently and accurately keep records and be proactive in your approach to ensuring the profitability of the company.
• You must have a valid driver’s licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
