SUMMARY:
My client in electronics is seeking a Stock controller to join their team in Johannesburg. This is an EE opportunity.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities include:

Obtaining quotes from suppliers from approved supplier list
Raising of purchase orders for stock replenishment and buy out of stock
Completing customer application forms received from new suppliers
Requesting of vendor application forms to be completed by new suppliers
Receiving picking slips for solar orders
Picking of stock in accordance with picking slip
Informing project managers when stock is ready for collection
Receiving GRNs for returned stock
Liaising with technical support to assess if stock is faulty or needing repair
Liaising with administration clerks on actioning a return to supplier
Receiving Buy-Out Stock and samples and communicating to the relevant persons
Counting in and signing for stock received from suppliers / internal transfers
Liaising with administration clerk to receipt stock on signed proof of delivery
Bi-weekly stock take
Manage stock levels and co-ordinate ordering of replenishment stock

Requirements:

2 - 3 years relevant experience in stock control
Matric
