POSITION INFO:

Our client, a well-established business based in St Francis, is looking for an experienced Stock Controller, who is energetic and hands-on. Previous experience in the FMCG / Food sector is an advantage.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Grade 12 / Matric.
At least 2 years’ experience as a Stock Controller, preferably within the FMCG / Food sector.
Experience in working within a high pressured, fast paced work environment.
Good experience with accounts.
Candidate must reside in the St Francis / Jeffreys Bay area.
Computer literate (MS Access and Pastel - Pastel Partner).
High attention to detail.
High energy and positive attitude.
Good work ethics.
Mature, with good problem-solving skills.
Uses own initiative.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Processing of stock movement on Access.
Adding of production costs to stock.
Goods Receipt.
Goods Issue.
Handling of queries.
Ensuring FIFO is maintained.
Ensuring batch management is maintained.
Doing month-end reconciliations - making sure stock balances at the end of the month.
Completion and submission of monthly levies.
