Who We're Looking For:

The Bay Hotel in the heart of Camps Bay, has an exciting opportunity for a Sous Chef to join their team. We are seeking a motivated and skilled individual with a strong culinary background and a passion for creating exceptional dining experiences. You should excel in managing kitchen operations, supporting the Head Chef, and thriving under pressure. Strong organizational and leadership skills are essential, as well as excellent communication skills. You will handle kitchen operations with care and professionalism, ensuring attention to detail shines through in every dish you create.

What is required:

A small, intimate restaurant in Camps Bay is looking for a young and ambitious Sous Chef. If fresh ingredients, creative freedom, and your herb garden excite you, this might just be your dream.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Must speak, read, write and understand English at a professional level
• Previous experience in the same or similar position in a 4/5 star hotel 
• Familiar with all duties and procedures in the Kitchen
