Social Media - Internship - Cape Town

A fast-paced e-commerce company, based in Cape Town, South Africa is looking for a vibrant and energetic intern to become part of our hard-working team to expand their marketing department.

This is an internship, with the option to extend based on performance. They are looking for interns who can work in-house at their office in Cape Town with their design team. You need to have a great eye for visuals, are thrilled to come up with new ideas and campaigns with our endless range of products.

Content Related Roles:

· Help to schedule and plan content through researched important dates

· Research in-trend products and hashtags.

· Get high-quality content from content creators.

· Create an affiliate program for customers to recommend the brand.

· Make campaigns each month based on a specific category.

· Data analytics to understand audiences, based on data and engagement.

· Create Tik Tok and Reels via how-to-videos to display

· Engage with followers such as replying to comments and questions.

Roles:

· Create, edit and upload content to social media

· Manage our influencer and affiliate marketing campaigns

· Copywriting of blogs, newsletters, products, posts, etc.

· Learning about other aspects of e-commerce and retail.

Requirements for position:

· Great ideas to bring to life and interest in all forms of digital media

· Stay in-trend with social media and other types of in-trend content

· Experience with editing software such as Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro is a bonus

· Excellent communication skills and entrepreneurial spirit

· Having a driver’s license and camera gear would be beneficial

· Have a Bachelor''s Degree

· Bring your own laptop or PC
