An American based company with wings in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town has just made it known they are looking for a vibrant and to the point Social Media Co-ordinator to join their team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

A RECENT PROFESSIONAL PROFILE PHOTO MUST ACCOMPANY YOUR APPLICATION

EMPLOYMENT TYPE : Permanent

START DATE : Immediate

DUTIES:

Social Media:
- Create new upcoming and trending Social Media accounts
- Update and maintain current Social Media accounts
- Feedback and analysis of Social Media account popularity, audience and growth
- Update and create company local events on Social Media
- Translate Social Media posts into other SA languages
Marketing
- Assist with general design projects as needed
- Create and maintain company’s newsletter & website
- Assist and maintain events and news on company’s website
- Create and maintain contact e-mail list
- Photography – products, local content and events
Other:
- Assist with event PowerPoint presentations as needed
- General marketing duties (printing, packing, boxing and stock take)
- Translate literature into other languages
- Proof read and check names for literature and events
- Delegate and manage Social Media Assistant duties and responsibilities
- Content writing

REQUIREMENTS:

Diploma / Certificate Social Media or Online Marketing
Graphic Design Certificate
MS Office, Adobe Suite & Corel Draw
Video & photography knowledge with editing skills
Knowledge of Online Advertising
Up to date with the latest Social Media trends
