Showroom Assistant / Administrator

POSITION INFO:

We are looking for a Showroom Assistant / Administrator to join our team

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to support our showroom operations. As a Showroom Assistant / Administrator, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting with showroom sales, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring the showroom is well-maintained.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist customers and provide product information regarding stock availability and pricing
Follow up on quotations
Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues
Maintain showroom appearance and cleanliness
Assist with maintaining visual presentation of the showroom (ie displays)
Support the showroom manager and sales team with administrative tasks
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors as needed
Liaise with staff and clients as needed
Marking of drawings for corporate account
Assist with the list of samples for corporate clients

The ideal candidate will need to have the following skills and experience:

Matric (Grade 12)
Valid driver's licence
Computer literacy
Experience in customer service, sales support, and office administration.
Strong communication skills both verbally and written
Bilingual (English and Afrikaans)
Attention to detail
Strong organisational skills
Team player
Proactive with a "can-do" attitude
Professional appearance and and a friendly demeanor are essential for this role.
Able and willing to work on Saturdays
