Shop Manager

SUMMARY:
An established Boat manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Shop Manager to oversee daily production floor operations, lead teams, and ensure the highest quality standards are maintained throughout the manufacturing process.
This is a hands on leadership role suited to someone with strong people management skills, a quality-driven mindset, and experience in a production or manufacturing environment.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

• Previous experience managing a manufacturing or production facility.
• Strong leadership and people management abilities.
• Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and decision-making skills.
• Computer literacy and experience working with production documentation.

Advantageous

• Experience within the boat-building, marine, fibreglass, or related manufacturing industries.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement principles.
