Role: Mid to Senior Service designer - Strategic thinking digital marketing enthusiast to work with multidisciplinary experienced design (XD) team.  Collaborating with global teams who are equally passionate about user-centered design on super exciting projects. Work with international companies on digital strategy.
Location: Cape Town ( Hybrid work from home and office a couple of days per week) but working with international companies abroad.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Role: The XD team collaborates with clients around business challenges and facilitate a guided process to find enticing, viable, and feasible digital solutions.
The main function is to uncover new opportunity areas to produce prospective visions which will aid clients growth with the aim to design meaningful and relevant moments that bring delight, allowing users to do more and feel more.
The Service Designer is an essential part of the XD team who will lead projects, assisting clients and guiding with internal team members including US researchers, content designers, UX designers, and functional analysts to solve critical business and design challenges.
The foundation of the work is in Design Thinking (problem-solving orientated) by applying a structured design approach to tackle challenges (Double Diamond framework).
Leading projects from scoping to presenting the final solution.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, drive, and guide standard methodologies for framing, problem-solving, and blend customer and business insights. Scoping, planning, and conducting primary, secondary, and parallel research
  • Synthesize qualitative and quantitative information, build insights and reframe problems as opportunities
  • You will prepare and co-facilitate workshops 
  • Prepare and facilitate collaborative efforts with crucial leadership and stakeholders 
  • Develop impactful business cases that support new opportunity areas
