SUMMARY:
The Talent Acquisition (TA) Specialist will support a fast-paced and rapidly growing payment Fintech Business. The TA specialist will take full responsibility for sourcing, attracting, recruiting, and onboarding specialist resources in a Pan African business space.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Take full responsibility for full cycle recruitment processes 
  • Service hiring managers from multiple business units
  • Meet managers to discuss staffing requirements
  • Build a talent pipeline to address potential staff needs for projects and developments in the business.
  • Identifying candidates for transfers or reassignment in the company.

Sourcing: 

  • Draft sourcing plans, identify applicable talent pools and collate information on potential candidates
  • Perform branded applicant outreaches to attract top talent

Recruitment: 

  • Draft Job advertisements
  • Advertise jobs opening on various recruitment portals and social media platforms
  • Applicant screening and shortlisting
  • Schedule interviews and prep candidates
  • Attend interviews and conduct behavioural interviews
  • Coordinate candidate assessments
  • Provide feedback and suggestions on job applications to candidates
  • Reference checking and background screening
  • Extend offers 
  • Administrative tasks required
  • Providing feedback and suggestions on job applications from employees

Must have experience:

  • 5 to 8 years of recruitment experience
  • An above-average knowledge and experience of recruitment and sourcing processes, practices, methods and tools
  • Solid understanding of applicable labour, data protection and protection of personal information legislation

Experience that will count in your favour: 

  • IT Recruitment experience.
  • Financial Services and Fintech recruitment experience.

Nice to have experience: 

  • African Continent (West, East and Southern Africa)

Qualification:

  • A degree in Human Sciences, Industrial Psychology or Business
  • Post-graduate qualifications (Bonus)

 Continuous learning:

  • Recruitment and Sourcing Certifications and Courses
  • Recruitment Industry Memberships

 Skills:

  • Excellent WordExcel and PowerPoint.
  • Google workspace experience (Bonus).
  • Knowledge of recruitment automation tools including, Application Tracking Systems.
  • Sourcing tools and techniques.
  • Solid Google X-ray (Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) and Social Media Intelligence (SOCMINT).
