Senior Sponsorship Account Manager

SUMMARY:
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Sponsorship Account Manager to join one of South Africa's leading organisations within the sports, entertainment and betting industry.
 
We are seeking a commercially driven relationship manager with a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences and managing high-value sponsorship partnerships. In this role, you will be responsible for a portfolio of corporate sponsors, ensuring sponsorship agreements are successfully executed while maximising value for both clients and the business.
 
Working closely with the Marketing, Events, Hospitality and Commercial teams, you will lead the planning and delivery of sponsorship activations across major events, digital platforms and promotional campaigns, ensuring every partnership is delivered to the highest standard. This is an exciting opportunity to work with leading corporate brands, coordinate high-profile campaigns and play a key role in delivering some of South Africa's premier sporting and entertainment events.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of strategic sponsorship accounts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate sponsors.
• Plan and deliver sponsorship activations across events, hospitality and digital platforms.
• Coordinate race day and event sponsorship requirements.
• Ensure all sponsorship rights and contractual deliverables are fulfilled.
• Work with internal stakeholders to deliver seamless client experiences.
• Prepare sponsorship reports and measure campaign performance.
• Identify opportunities to grow existing partnerships and increase sponsorship revenue.
• Support sponsorship renewals and commercial negotiations.
• Represent the business professionally at events and client engagements.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in Sponsorship Management, Key Account Management or Client Relationship Management.
• Experience managing high-value corporate clients.
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Experience coordinating events, sponsorship activations or marketing campaigns.
• Strong organisational and project management skills.
• The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience within sport, entertainment, hospitality, media or events would be highly advantageous.
