POSITION INFO:
Company and Job Description:
My client is seeking a highly detail-oriented and experienced Senior Intercompany Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timely settlement of intercompany transactions across multiple regions and currencies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reconciling intercompany accounts, processing invoices, resolving discrepancies, and supporting regional operations to ensure smooth intercompany financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Reconcile intercompany accounts, verifying balances and investigating discrepancies
Process missing and outstanding intercompany invoices
Support regional operations with intercompany-related queries
Perform day-to-day intercompany financial transactions
Prepare and report weekly updates on intercompany account statuses and discrepancies to Regional Heads of Finance
Communicate queries and resolutions effectively with relevant regions and stakeholders
Prepare settlement details for review and action by the Accounts Payable Manager and Regional Head of Finance
Act as an accountability partner to operations teams across regions
Structure work hours to ensure continuity of support across different global time zones

Job Experience and Skills Required:
Degree or Diploma in Accounting
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in intercompany reconciliations
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in invoice processing and data capturing
Proven experience in multi-country and multi-currency environments
Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, MS Teams)
Intermediate Excel skills
Sound knowledge of basic accounting principles
Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving abilities
