The company imports, exports, and distributes seafood products to and from various countries worldwide.

The Role: Senior Cold Store Administrator

This position is responsible for supporting and assisting with Cold Store day-to-day operations. The role provides clerical support to the Cold Store Manager and employees, coordinates daily administrative activities and functions, and performs relief duties for Admin Operations clerks.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage administrative tasks with at least 3 years of experience in a warehouse or similar environment, and 3 to 5 years of administrative experience.

• Maintain daily staff attendance registers across all shifts and manage employee records and MHE driver licenses.

• Coordinate weekly timesheets, scan them, and send them to HR.

• Manage service providers, including scheduling, checking OHS compliance, booking in, ensuring assigned working areas, procuring stock, and creating purchase orders on SAP.

• Oversee Chep Pallet control, perform recons, order office stationery, and maintain filing systems for service providers, data, and equipment maintenance.

• Control documentation for internal processes, stock, MHE, and local deliveries by checking completions, accuracy, and scanning daily local delivery notes against load sheets.

• Act as the cold store liaison between Logistics, HR, Payroll, Trading, and other departments.

• Prepare regular reports and assist with updating office policies and standard operating procedures.

About You

• At least 3 years of experience in a warehouse or similar environment.

• 3 to 5 years of administrative experience.

• Matric qualification.

• Computer literate with essential strong Excel skills and report writing abilities.

• Strong communication skills, good interpersonal skills to communicate at all levels, problem-solving skills, critical thinking capabilities, sound judgment, good time management, and organizational skills.

• Vibrant, hardworking, go-getter, loyal, team player, honest, reliable, detail-oriented, self-motivated, results-orientated, flexible, and willing to learn.

• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, prioritize, multitask, work with little supervision, and apply urgency.

• Preference to have own transport.

• Preferential knowledge of ERP and SAP B1.
