Security Supervisor - Pretoria

 The Security Supervisor will report directly to the SHEQ and Facilities Manager and forms part of the Corporate Services Division.

KPAs

ü  Prepare all shift scheduling (roster) for all Security staff

ü  Record and arrange for remedial action for all complaints related to safety or fire control

ü  Preparation of inventory list of onsite equipment inspection

ü  Build and maintain a good working relations with local law enforcement agencies.

ü  Form part of the Occupational Health and Safety Committee

ü  Training of security staff in line with the security standard operating procedures.

ü  Assist in development of the Security Management Policy and standard operating procedures

ü  Assist with annual budget preparation for both OPEX and CAPEX.

ü  Assist with budget control of the approved budget.

ü  To conduct monthly performance review of all outsourced services.

Qualification requirements are:

ü  Grade 12, post Matric NQF Level 6, Grade B certification and registered with PSIRA

ü  1-2 years managerial experience and 2-3 years functional experience

ü  Have a clear criminal record

ü  Relevant Control Room and Electronic security knowledge and experience

ü  Report writing, investigation and audit skills

ü  Be organised and have good time management skills

ü  Have the ability to manage priorities

ü  Have excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills

ü  Have the ability to work well as part of a team

ü  Be responsible and reliable

ü  Have a diligent work ethic with attention to detail

ü  Self-motivated and pro-active
