Sales Representative (Security)

POSITION INFO:

To drive new business growth, strengthen existing client relationships, and promote tailored security solutions to residential and commercial customers.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric essential
• Relevant sales or business qualification advantageous
• Proven external sales and / or key account management experience
• 3 to 5 years proven sales experience within security, guarding, armed response, CCTV, access control, or related industries
• Strong track record in business development and client retention
• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office / CRM systems)
• PSIRA registration preferred

Key Performance Areas

• Generate new business through prospecting, networking, and referrals
• Identify client needs and conduct on-site consultations
• Present suitable security solutions aligned to client requirements
• Prepare professional proposals, quotations, and service agreements
• Manage sales pipeline and achieve agreed monthly targets
• Maintain and grow existing client accounts
• Cross-sell and upsell additional products and services
• Build strong long-term client relationships
• Monitor competitor activity and market opportunities
• Submit accurate weekly sales activity reports and forecasts
• Represent the business professionally in the market
