The Role: Sales Representative
The purpose of the role is to generate new business, strengthen existing customer relationships, and meet assigned sales targets and revenue objectives. The position focuses on promoting products and solutions, developing new opportunities within an assigned territory, and maintaining accurate customer records and engagement history.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate 3 to 5 years of sales experience in an industrial, equipment, or technical services environment.

• Achieve assigned sales targets and revenue objectives while growing sales within existing customer accounts.

• Develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory and conduct regular customer visits and needs assessments.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring accurate customer records and engagement history are kept.

• Prepare and submit accurate quotations and proposals, and negotiate pricing and terms within approval frameworks.

• Present products professionally and accurately while maintaining in-depth knowledge of products and solutions.

• Monitor competitor activity and market trends while managing sales opportunities through to closure.

• Coordinate with sales admin, operations, and service teams, and support after-sales handover and customer onboarding.

About You

• 3 to 5 years of sales experience in an industrial, equipment, or technical services environment.

• Matric qualification.

• Proven track record in sales.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, problem-solving skills, and the ability to perform under pressure.

• High level of efficiency, accuracy, accountability, and strong ethics.

• Highly motivated, ambitious, assertive, confident, responsive, and results-driven.

• Relevant qualification in Technical Sales, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or Business Management (Nice-to-have).

• Experience with forklift trucks, earthmoving equipment, cleaning equipment, compressed air systems, or similar industrial products (Nice-to-have).
