The Role: Regional Sales Representative

The purpose of this role is to drive business growth, build strategic partnerships, and expand market share in Cape Town. The position focuses on technical B2B sales and managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing.

Key Responsibilities

• Possess 3 to 5 years of proven experience in B2B technical sales.

• Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities with solar installers, distributors, and commercial enterprise clients within Cape Town.

• Nurture and grow existing relationships with key accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.

• Conduct site assessments and technical consultations to recommend appropriate battery storage solutions.

• Maintain an accurate and up-to-date CRM database, tracking leads, follow-ups, and sales forecasts to meet and exceed revenue targets.

• Facilitate product demonstrations and basic technical training for installer networks and distribution partners.

• Monitor industry trends, competitor positioning, and regulatory changes to provide feedback to national sales and marketing teams.

About You

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of proven experience in B2B technical sales, preferably within the renewable energy, solar PV, or energy storage (battery) industries.

• Strong understanding of technical product specifications, inverter compatibility, and basic electrical concepts related to energy storage.

• Exceptional negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to effectively deliver technical presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Valid driver''s license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
